Tim Dodge Chief Innovation Officer

Tim brings more than 25 years of entrepreneurial business management and marketing expertise to his clients and to the business of HDC. Tim is responsible for development of new business models, partnerships and service offers for HDC. With a passion for technology and results-oriented solutions, Tim has been the driving force behind the launch of Active Commerce, the HDC e-commerce platform developed to help consumer product manufacturers engage with their customers to strengthen their brands and grow their e-

Walter Bloch Vice President of Agency Operations

Walter leads the HDC Experience Delivery group and oversees the interactive technology, brand experience and project management teams. He works closely with all of the teams ensuring successful completion of our clients programs. Walter has been successfully managing large teams and multi-million dollar programs for more than 20 years. He has proven skills in business organization, team development, business analysis and project methodologies, and is certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Dan Herwig Director of Brand Experience

Dan has been transforming brand strategies and communication goals into creative concepts for digital and traditional media at HDC for more than 12 years. He oversees the studio’s creative group, including creative and art direction, design, writing, user experience, copywriting and digital content creation, and also serves as a creative director on select accounts. Dan balances strategy, creativity and technology to create compelling user experiences ranging from huge enterprise-wide web design systems, to intimate brand experiences and engaging motion graphics.

Mike Stefaniak Vice President- Strategic Services; Senior Brand Strategist

Mike leads HDC’s Strategy Group and also serves as one of HDC’s chief brand strategists, helping clients determine the true essence of their brand position. He brings more than 18 years in brand-based strategy and execution to the agency, including 13 years in functional leadership and executive roles. Over the course of his career, Mike has led branding or rebranding engagements for more than 70 clients representing a wide variety of industries.

Rick Miller Vice President - E-commerce & Digital Marketing

Rick is responsible for overseeing the creation and implementation of integrated e-commerce and e-marketing programs for our clients. He brings more than 15 years of experience in developing and implementing e-marketing business solutions that deliver competitive advantage and a measurable return on investment to clients. Rick works to incorporate search marketing (search engine optimization & PPC), lifecycle email marketing, social marketing optimization, user experience, comparison shopping engines (CSE), affiliate marketing and digital marketing components into the business needs of clients.

Nick Wesselman Director of Technology Services

Nick leads the HDC technology practice and has been instrumental in the design and development of numerous award-winning Sitecore implementations. He is among a select group of Sitecore developers worldwide to be named a Sitecore MVP. Nick brings more than a decade of technology development experience to clients, providing a wide array of knowledge ranging from front-end development to the latest technological advancements in mobile, e-commerce and tablet platforms. He also lead development of the HDC Active Commerce program.

Tom Flierl Vice President- Sales & Marketing

Tom leads the HDC Sales and Marketing teams where he leverages more than 20 years of business experience in technology, marketing and media. Tom knows what it takes to successfully manage and grow a business. He has more than 12 years of executive experience leading the integration of sales and marketing, and has held equity positions in two companies including a successful start-up firm.

Matt Braun Director of Public Relations

Matt is responsible for the management and growth of the HDC public relations practice. With more than 10 years of experience in media relations, press events and marketing communications, he has worked with such large national brands as Miller Brewing Company, Johnson Controls, Briggs & Stratton, Major League Baseball and Northwestern Mutual. His areas of specialty include national and regional media relations, story development, key message development, and event and planning and execution.

Sally Siegel Account Services Director

Sally guides overall brand and communication strategies, and frames solutions to drive clients’ business objectives. She brings more than 19 years experience in the advertising, communications and marketing industry, and is adept at assessing client challenges from all relevant angles. Her expertise includes strategic consulting, brand development, digital strategy creation and comprehensive development of integrated marketing solutions. She also leads large cross-discipline teams within HDC.

Sarah Van Elzen Director of Social Media

With seven years of agency experience, beginning at the forefront of the social media age, Sarah has developed social media process and strategy for countless clients. Sarah is responsible for leading the HDC social media practice. Her team focuses on content and strategy, and engages audiences using a variety of platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Blogs and YouTube. Sarah’s expertise encompasses SEO writing, social monitoring, online PR, influencer outreach, campaign management, ideation and relationship management.
