Hanson Dodge Creative Adds Talent To Social Media Practice: Brent Gohde Named Social Media Strategist

In a continuing effort to meet increasing client demand for effective social media solutions, Hanson Dodge Creative (HDC) has hired Brent Gohde as a social media strategist.

“Brent brings an eclectic mix of talents as a creative copywriter and storyteller with an expertise in digital and social media platforms,” said Sara Meaney, HDC partner and vice president of public relations and social media. “We plan to use his multi-faceted skill set in a variety of ways to benefit our clients.”

Prior to joining HDC, Gohde worked for a business-to-business digital marketing agency and was responsible for client experience design and story development.  Previous to that, he was also the promotions director at WMSE-FM where he worked for six years to publicize the Milwaukee radio station on the air, online, in social media and through community events. Gohde is currently the director of Cedar Block, an organization he founded in 2005 that provides event marketing to organizations such as the Milwaukee Art Museum, Milwaukee Film and Alverno Presents. He has done freelance writing for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and is currently a contributor to The Onion–AV Club Milwaukee.

Gohde earned his bachelor’s degree in English in 1999 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
