Sara Meaney to Present 2012 Digital Outlook

Sara Meaney

Sara Meaney, Hanson Dodge Creative president of strategy and growth, will present an outlook on 2012 digital trends to Wisconsin business leaders at the 11th Annual Northern Trust Economic Trends Breakfast on Friday, Jan. 20 at the Italian Community Center.

The event, which last year drew more than 650 people, will feature vibrant discussions between prominent Wisconsin business leaders, state representatives and industry experts on the state of the economy. Meaney is among six featured speakers who will provide insight into the economic outlook through analysis of industry trends and current indicators. A networking reception will kick off the event at 7 a.m., followed by presentations starting at 7:30 a.m.

Meaney will explore the latest trends in mobile technology and social media. She gave a 2011 digital outlook at last year’s Breakfast and, due to overwhelming interest and positive feedback from audience members, was asked to return for an encore performance.

“For the past 11 years, the Northern Trust Economic Trends Breakfast series has consistently presented timely and meaningful topics key to business success,” said Meaney. “I am honored to be asked to speak for a second year in a row.”

Meaney has more than 15 years of marketing and communications experience advising global brands with an expertise in integrated marketing communications and technology. At Hanson Dodge Creative, she oversees the agency’s strategy and business development efforts, with ultimate responsibility for agency growth and client services. In her previous role with HDC, Meaney was responsible for the organizational development, maturity and growth of the social media and public relations practice and its programs, helping clients to make their mark in an increasingly technology-driven world.
