Prompted by increasing client demand for integrated marketing programs, Hanson Dodge Creative (HDC) has expanded its public relations and social media practice with the hiring of Matt Braun as a PR and social media strategist.
“The addition of Matt to the team is like icing on a cake,” said Sara Meaney, HDC president of strategy and growth. “We're thrilled to add his deep public relations experience, strategic thinking and leadership to the thriving and growing practice we already have in place.”
Braun comes to HDC with a unique blend of corporate, agency and non-profit experience. He has held public relations and broader marketing manager positions with Northwestern Mutual and ManpowerGroup and has held senior executive roles at several Milwaukee-based agencies, focusing on national media relations and strategic planning. Braun is an active volunteer in the community, applying his extensive knowledge of public relations and marketing communications to assist various non-profit organizations, including St. Marcus Lutheran School on Milwaukee’s north side. He served as the marketing communications manager for the Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon for nearly seven years and was the former president of the Milwaukee Sunrise Rotary Club.
Braun earned his bachelor’s degree in communicative arts from Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2001.
