Ragan’s PR Daily, one of the premier news site that delivers monthly information to nearly 800,000 public relations, marketing and social media professionals worldwide, announced this week that it has named the Hanson Dodge Creative (HDC) Nick Symmonds campaign as the winner of its 2012 Best PR Campaign in the Under $24,999 spend category.
The campaign, which featured HDC’s now famous winning eBay auction bid for ad space on the left shoulder of the U.S. Olympian, resulted in worldwide attention and national media coverage for both the agency and Symmonds. (See New York Times article for full story).
The Ragan Awards competitions are among the most prestigious in the public relations and corporate communications industry. Ragan announced the 2012 media relations award finalists in each of its 19 categories in December. HDC and other award-winning companies will be featured in a special edition of PR Daily in the coming weeks.
