With plans to offer its new game-changing, template-based Active Commerce technology platform to mid-market companies in 2012, Hanson Dodge Creative (HDC) today announced it has hired Jason Booth as senior interactive developer.
Active Commerce provides a full-featured e-commerce experience for mid-tier consumer product manufacturers, enabling them to harness the power of e-commerce and compete with major brands. HDC developed the technology platform last year and implemented it for Koss Corporation in late 2011.
“Jason has a background in and a passion for e-commerce that’s a perfect fit for developing and implementing our Active Commerce platform,” said Nick Wesselman, HDC director of technology services. “I look forward to seeing him apply his development and communication skills as a technical lead on many projects.”
Booth comes to HDC with more than 10 years of professional development experience ranging from design and application architecture, to web optimization and client-side scripting. In addition, he is also the founder and developer of Backcountry K-9, an online e-commerce site that has been providing outdoor and camping gear for dogs since 2005
Booth earned his bachelor’s degree in information technology in 1998 from Marquette University.
