Hanson Dodge Creative (HDC) executives Al Krueger and Dave Racine will discuss the strategies behind integrated public relations and social media campaigns that deliver results at a luncheon meeting of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Southeastern Wisconsin to be held at the downtown Milwaukee Hilton Hotel on Wednesday, Feb. 22.
Krueger and Racine will be featured, along with Jockey International Director of Public Relations Mo Moorman, in a panel discussion focusing on the integration of social media efforts into public relations and other marketing initiatives. They will also discuss the use of metrics to measure return on investment.
Using real-world examples, Krueger and Racine will demonstrate how to strategically leverage opportunities in today’s fast-paced, information-driven society. Krueger will discuss HDC’s
partnership with Olympian Nick Symmonds and how the agency used its winning bid in the Symmonds eBay auction and its launch of the HDC Active Lifestyle Advisory Board to garner worldwide attention. Racine will present current PR and social media initiatives that leverage the Super Bowl and NCAA’s March Madness Tournament to expand the online community and raise awareness of HDC client, Wilson Sporting Goods.

He also provides strategic social media and PR guidance to enhance clients’ brand presence. With more than 14 years experience in building brands through rich storytelling and strategy, Krueger is nationally recognized as a leader in leveraging social media for business. He has been honored by the
Milwaukee Business Journal as a member of their “Forty Under 40” Class of 2010. That same year, the publication also named Krueger among 100 of the Milwaukee area’s most influential people in its annual
Power Book.
Racine is the director of HDC’s public relations and social media practice group. Racine and his team drive new media strategies for HDC clients, turning online conversations into bottom line results. Racine, a communications professional for the past 12 years, got his career start handling publicity for a FedEx Championship Auto Racing Team based in Chicago
. Since then he as held a variety of agency and public relations positions including account supervisor, strategic planner and social media strategist. An avid active lifestyle enthusiast, Racine regularly participates in cycling races and triathlons. In 2004, he combined his passions for cycling and motor racing when he co-founded and organized the Tour de Road America benefitting the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
