Sara Meaney, a Hanson Dodge Creative partner and vice president, will be a featured speaker at the 21st Annual Worksite Wellness Conference on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay.
Meaney’s presentation, “Making Wellness a Social Cause: How to Leverage Social Media to Motivate and Mobilize Employees Toward Healthy Choices” will focus on relevant trends and insights to consider as employers build and grow their worksite wellness programs.
“Social media platforms support the many communication needs of an active lifestyle,” said Meaney. “Companies need to embrace these new tools as they provide additional means of creating supportive, engaged employee communities, and they offer the management tools to deliver and sustain the activities that lead to a healthier employee population.”
Meaney has more than 15 years of marketing and communications experience advising global brands. At HDC, she is responsible for the organizational development, maturity and growth of the social media and public relations practice and its programs, helping clients to make their mark in an increasingly technology-driven world.
The Wellness Council, which has over 430 employer members representing more than 400,000 employees statewide, is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping employers design results-oriented wellness programs. For more information about the conference, visit: https://www.wellnesscouncilwi.org.
