Moving to first class. Briggs & Riley Travelware wanted what all clients want –- to increase sales. The New York-based luggage manufacturer offers a wide variety of innovative, high-quality products well known to savvy travelers. Thanks to a strong following of loyal customers, the company consistently achieved strong sales in retail outlets and wanted its online business to rival results in its retail outlets. But we wanted to go beyond that. We wanted to transform a great luggage company into a leading brand. To do that, we redefined our relationship.

For instance, in the case of Briggs & Riley, our compensation is directly tied to sales results.  As we built the brand and website, we integrated e-commerce strategies designed to drive traffic and sales. Some would call this partnership unconventional, but the proof is in the bag. Briggs & Riley’s numbers have increased exponentially.

Branding  Repositioning an established product line is a challenge, but we saw it as an opportunity to move consumer perceptions from great to legendary. We expanded the Briggs & Riley brand beyond business boundaries to include leisure and adventure travelers. Timing the rebranding with the launch of a new compression technology product, HDC helped Briggs & Riley introduce a refined brand revolving around a new look that appeals to frequent, high-end travelers and a new tagline that speaks to its status - Legendary performance, guaranteed for life.

Website A large portion of the Briggs & Riley rebranding effort was accomplished with the launch of a new website featuring clean design, spectacular visuals and concise, snappy copy. The goal -- show versus tell whenever possible to demonstrate the product’s unique ability to make the travel experience easier, faster and more fun. Any visitor to the new Briggs & Riley website now quickly sees that this is indeed the smartest bag on the market.
