Hanson Dodge Wins A Prestigious 2019 Content Marketing Award

The Content Marketing Institute (CMI) has awarded Hanson Dodge (HD) with a 2019 Content Marketing Award for their work with Legendary Whitetails. The Content Marketing Awards, produced by the Content Marketing Institute, is the largest and longest-running international content marketing awards program in the world.

Hanson Dodge received recognition in the Innovative use of multiple social media platforms category. In partnership with Legendary Whitetails, HD developed an integrated content campaign that introduced Reed (“deer” spelled backwards): a 10-point buck who, in a sardonic twist, works as a delivery driver for Legendary Whitetails during hunting’s off-season. Through this campaign, HD strategically entertained and engaged hunters with humorous content and commentary showcased on Reed’s personal social media accounts. HD also injected Reed into a host of unexpected venues, like Goodreads, Rotten Tomatoes, Yelp, MapMyRun, Amazon, LinkedIn, and Spotify.

This year’s panel of all-star judges reviewed nearly 1,100 entries to choose the best of the best in content marketing excellence, recognizing all aspects of content marketing, from strategy to distribution, and from editorial to design.
