Hanson Dodge’s Chief Strategy Officer, Mike Stefaniak, returns to November’s Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Denver, to present an educational session titled “The Next Generation Outdoor Consumer: Four Truths You Need to Know.”
Drawing on data from primary research HD conducted earlier this year, Mike will share insights about younger outdoor consumers’ beliefs, preferences and shopping behavior—ultimately pointing to four truths brands and retailers need to consider as they seek to win over this critical set of consumers.
The presentation is slated for 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 8, in Room 302 of the Colorado Convention Center.

Mike Stefaniak leads Hanson Dodge’s efforts to deliver transformational branding, marketing and digital strategies for clients. He brings 24 years of experience in strategy and implementation to the agency, including 20+ years in functional leadership and executive roles. Over the course of his career, Mike has led nearly 100 branding or rebranding engagements for a wide range of organizations, including active and outdoor brands such as Stanley PMI, Outdoor Industry Association, KEEN, Ragnar Relay, Wolverine, Outdoor Nation, Quantum Sails and Legendary Whitetails. He also served as an adjunct professor at Marquette University, where he taught a graduate school course on brand strategy. An avid road and trail runner, Mike has completed 24 marathons and numerous trail races.
